I have a 1999 GMC Envoy with HID low beam headlights. One of the headlights went out and I was quoted the following “replace the Igniter which costs $657.00 per side and also the Ballast which costs $616.00 per side. Or you could do the Headlamp Assembly which is around $1,000 per side.” I thought there had to be a more cost effective way to replace the headlight. Both $1,273 and ... Read More
Okay, how do you replace the fuel sending sensor? I have had this problem on our 1997 Chev Blazer, 1998 GMC Jimmy and our 2000 GMC Envoy. The vehicle probably had 9,000 miles on it ... Read More

Since the Firestone mess and dealer service problems, I have considered replacing my 1998 Explorer Sport. After seeing the Bravada and Envoy at the New York Auto Show, I thought I may have found a couple of vehicles that may meet my needs, although I strongly believe that no one should purchase a GM product the first year it is introduced. Looks like I was correct. After reading the posts here, ... Read More
