193k miles and still going

2013 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
I purchased this car new and have been very impressed with both the initial quality and how it has handled the 193k miles I have put on. Quiet and solid ride. Certainly not a sporty drive but certainly more comfortable than any comparable Lexus, Honda, or Chevrolet I've ridden in. People are shocked that I have as many miles on the car and how it looks/performs.
Routine maintenance … with the exception of the water pump being replaced at 190k miles. Agree with the review noting the pump replacement cost $2,000. Shocking but this is the only negative I've experienced so far.
still a reliable and comfortable drive

2013 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
this is my second Taurus. it is stylish, comfortable and low maintenance - normal checks, rotations etc. pretty much all i've had to do. the car gets excellent road mileage and low exterior noise when driving. very solid car. good head room and i am tall.
update: the car is still running well. still a stylish vehicle and a good value for my money. I still have low mileage what with being … near public transport out my front door and not having to work daily!( always a plus) but when i get on the highway or city freeways or tollways, i still experience good gas mileage and a smooth ride.
My family had many Ford and Lincoln products over the years from Lincoln town cars to the the newer Lincoln options and of course the original Bronco - for my father. it was 27 years old when he died and still rain like a top! why pay for a status name when you can own a Ford? not me.
Worse Vehicle Ever

2013 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Bought a new Taurus and from day one the sunroof had a lot of wind noise. Dealer said it was normal. First rain, and it leaked, dealer said they all leak a little. Finally put a new one in and it was fixed. Automatic door locking is nice but when a spring popped out and sprang across to the passenger seat, I know this was a trashy car.
Terrible blind spots, NOISY as heck on the … highway...sounded line the wheel bearings were bad or dry, MySync was AWFUL, and I could go on and on. So I traded it for a new Chrysler 300. Absolutely gorgeous, and not one complaint.
had it since january and i think the dealer has had it more than me!!

2013 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
I like the car in general, but as far as quality its junk!!
This thing has been in the shop on and off since day one, it has vibrations in the drive terrain, clunks in the seat, and squealing under the hood , and the my touch, sync stuff is total junk!
phone disconnects and screens do screwed up stuff all the time..
I have heard ford is having alot of problems with the sync and my touch … system.
Now my car is going in on wed to be completly gutted on the interior, to try and find this clunk they are unable to fix, just what i want is a brand new car that has been all tore apart!!
And they wont willingly take it back, but very soon there will be a lawyer involved!!!!
