Ok but could be better

2011 Ford Explorer XLT 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Overall good vehicle, size and comfort gets the job done for family of five. Bench 2nd works best. Third row works greatfor two people. Bonus is when third row seats are up there is additional room of storage pile bags and cooler. No other SUVs have that option. Whish it was bigger. This applies from 2011 to current.
Nothing ever broke!

2011 Ford Explorer XLT 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
The 2011 Explorer XLT is a comfortable car on the road, offering just about every option one could want, and this one has never broken down or even had to limp home. It just keeps on keepin' on! The handling is not bad, for a midsize crossover, the fuel mileage is decent, for the same reason, about 22mpg average. The interior materials and textures are above average for the class, and … the interior roominess is excellent. With the 2nd row seats folded there is about 88cf of space in the rear, and that is excellent as well. We've been happy campers together, and there are many vehicles that I can't say that about...
Now at 9 years and 134,000 miles, she's still purring along. Total upkeep: At 100K checkup, brakes all around, one front wheel bearing, one battery, and fresh plugs. Quite happy!
My Explorer is now 10.5 years old, and has 141,700 happy motoring miles on her, and nothing has changed! Still a workhorse, and easy on the maintenance. I still believe a can of Seafoam added to the fuel tank every quarter helps enhance engine performance...
We Love it!

2011 Ford Explorer XLT 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Bought the Ford SUV in Dec. 2010 when we traded in a F150. The looks were pleasing and interior comfortable, the back seats folding down for cargo is a plus! On a very cold day the heated seats are great! At the beginning we had several issues with the phones not connecting, had to take it in several times for help with this issue and software updates. Seems to have cleared up. For those … who say their phones don't connect all the time,
I found a setting on my BB that fixed that. It says to auto connect instead of prompt and that took care of the problem. I do have problems with the clock changing time but it's not very often. I am happy with it so far.
Very Disappointed

2011 Ford Explorer XLT 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
I purchased my 2011 Ford Explorer this past summer and I love the look of it but as far as issues that's all I seem to have with it.
Since day 1 I've had wind noise in my windshield and it may been on one side one day and on the other the next.
I've had it in to 2 different Ford dealers which total 5 times plus I went into another dealer and they had no idea what's causing it as … well.
I've had everything possible changed including the entire windshield and it's still making noise but not constantly.
Now it's back in the Ford shop for the windshield noise, my transmission also is not shifting correctly, a noise in my speedometer, and my MFT Navigation screen went blank the other day.
