We maintained our Volvo and its really paid off. Believe it or not it has 245,000+ and its still going. Sure, Volvo replaced the tranny once, but it's been a beast. Really fun to drive fast, especially when the punk kids think their car is faster. The only real complaint is the funky footwell space on the drivers side. It has a weird bump where the left foot rests. Other than that, Hoping it will drive another 245K.

I got really lucky, bought this 2003 V70 base model and it's been a great car. I bought this because of the carfax and I did good. 11,000 now it's at 240,000 still a great car ..

Outstanding Wagon

This is my third Volvo V70. The wagon is very comfortable, especially on long trips. Volvo has added many features to the car including the rain sensor which works very well. The car is child friendly and can take three child seats accross the middle seat with ease. My car is equipped with the reverse radar assist and it works very well. Recommend this option if you either park in close quarters or have little children. If you take this option, you should also install the module which will mute the radio.

AWD's At It's Best

This vehicle is SOLID. It feels substantial to drive and exudes safety. The doors have the definative THUD when closing and we feel secure even in the heaviest weather. Our '97 850T5 may have had more HP but this wagon has enough turbo to shock most soccer moms at the red lights. We got a great deal from Portland (ME) Volvo and haven't had one problem with it after 4500 miles. Great Vehicle!

It's big and drives like a tank, the fuel economy is pretty good, however if you open the sun/moon roof all the way back, it creates a funny wind effect sound, annoying.
