You can't appreciate the car until you have actaully driven. Unbelivable acceleration and handling. I'll take on an S4 anyday.

I like the power of the 2.5T, but as Edmunds describes you have to deal with turbo lag. It is excellent in the snow and ice, the AWD system combined with a good set of snowtires allows me great control and feeling of security. Nice leather interior, decent sound system, well engineered features and looks great !

The second day I owned the car I got stuck! Volvo has still not found the problem (2 months later). Certainly, things like car trouble will happen. But the truly concerning issue is the TERRIBLE customer service I have received from the dealership. (Another interesting defect I found was that the interior lights dim when the hazard warning lights flash...good luck looking at map while you are stopped by the side of the road.) My advice...don't make the same mistake I made. Spend a little more and buy a Mercedes.

My new R

This is by far the best car I've ever driven - or own. I almost bought a G35, until I took the R for a test drive. I bought it on the spot. It's not only the amazing performance, but the complete package, including comfort, design, quality, and of course, safety. For a price of a BMW 330 you get a bigger, faster, better looking car, with performance only a tad below an M.

In order to get maximum performance, you have to drive this car like a Japanese sport bike. Do not up shift if it will put the engine revs below 3500 rpm's. This engine is just too flat and unresponsive below 3500 rpm's. A six cylinder engine of the same displacement would have been a far superior way to go. Another 75 horsepower would help too. This 5 cyl is funky. It revs smoothly, but has trouble with smoothness at the upper end of the power band. Launches can be problematic too. Keep the revs high and work the clutch. The biggest complaint I have though is that this car, even though it is awd, suffers from torque steer. Fittsugen.
