I love almost everything about my car the styling, mpg, build quality, interior quality and a peppy engine that loves to pump out torque. My only complaint is it has a very stiff ride and to make matters worse my city has horrible roads. But all in all I would highly recommend this car to my friends and family. German engineering is head and shoulders above American.

Passat R-line is the best looking sedan!

The Passat is a very nice car. Turns heads all the time. If only VW would make this car its own trim (already did for 2017 but for 2018 and on) with better specs and equipment. When I was car shopping for a large sedan, the Passat offered me THE space (for my son's car seat), good car looks, fuel economy, and great looking interiors. A few may say that the Passat is an old guy's car but in reality I am almost 30 and like that elegant/sporty look of what this 2017 Passat offers. Even better, the unique color, Urano Gray that my Passat has. Good job on that VW. Make this Passat a 2.0, give its own spotlight as the 2018 Passat GT without the ugly two tone seats, enhanced engine, PUSH button start, keyless entry/remote start, fender audio system preferably 1000 watts and basically the rest of the SEL Premium features and bammmmm! The perfect Passat. This car is great on gas. Accelerates super good. On a full tank the car displays 475mi and actually consumes 420mi (city/highway).

I was in the auto business for 30 years. As far as I am concerned if you can find a nicer overall new car buy it quickly. This auto is the se with the tech pkg. It is the nicest riding and handling auto I have driven in my 30 years in the business.Ithas great interior room and a giant trunk. The seats have piping on that make the interior look much more expensive then it is.It feels rock solid and almost gets hybrid fuel economy .The dealer has drawings for dinners and details. I get compliments on the looks where ever I go and it!s made in America. I am now a year down the road and not one problem.Just went for the one year service.cost was $ 116. The service was quick, still very pleased.

Outstanding value and quality! My wife had a 2013 Passat TDI which she sold back to VW. After looking around at other brands she decided she missed the Passat style, room and driving quality. A new red Passat was located at a Seattle dealership and after a few phone conversations the deal was made and at a great price. I flew down and drove the vehicle back up to AK (2300 mi). I thought I'd miss the TDI grunt but the TSI is very impressive...good acceleration, smooth and mpg in the high 30's. I would recommend the Passat to anyone looking for a mid size car! (UPDATE} After two and half years of ownership all is good we are still very happy with the Passat. It has 30K on it now and still looks and drives like new. I did miss the diesel TDI though so I found a 2014 Beetle TDI (6 speed stick) in AZ that VW put back on the market. It doesn't get the mpg it did prior to the mod but did get 39-42 mpg on the drive to AK (3700 mi). Boy is it fun to drive!!!

The dealer had a new 2017 Passat left in 2018 so it was marked down 10grand.Paid 19,000 for a very nice car.Drives excellent, really nice technology.Passat drives like a much more expensive German luxury sedan.Looks great with bright LED headlights, nice rims, and a classy look.I have driven Camry and Accord which are very nice cars but the Passat feels more solid and the safety ratings are excellent.
