I have a smile on my face every time I drive this turbo beauty and the beast

I purchased my black 2007 Passat with the 2.0 T engine with the manual 6 speed transmission and the sport package with black leather seats in 2010 as a certified vehicle with about 31K miles. Right now I have just over 120K on it and it runs just like new. The car corners very well, acceleration is great, breaking is great, I love the manual 6-speed, when you are in a mood and there is a good curvy, hilly road Oh man... As you will find out later on, the car is more expensive to run due to premium gas and to maintain than an Accord or Camry, but what I can say is it delivers 5 tons of joy to me everyday I drive it.I installed a hitch to it as well and it pulls 2,000 lbs like a breeze.

I have a 2007 Volkswagen Passat Wolfsburg. Performance is great plus i get very fuel mileage on the highway the city driving is always much lower fuel economy. I bought a BMW 5 series and I still love driving my Passat. The interior styling, size, equipment is all great. I did upgrade the radio to a Navigational GPS radio. Only negative could be it ride hard which is also the reason it hold the road so well and it is a very low car to get out of. 05-07-2020 Updated I have approximately 176000 on the car. The car is still running well. The car is fantastic.

I bought this as a never-titled demo with 5,000 miles on it. I am knocking wood as I say this, but I have not had the first problem with this car, after 75,000 miles. It's my second Passat V6, and is absolutely the best car I have ever owned. I had an 04 Passat V6, which was really fun to drive, but after warranty it began to have issues. The 07 is a better model, I think, though the steering is not as tight as the 04 due to the widened body. I took the 07 Passat to the dealer for regular service, but when the warranty expired, I just started having the oil changes done at Jiffy Lube. I think it's not good for a car to be tinkered with too much (i.e., if it ain't broke...). Excellent car.

This is the first time I have ever purchased a VW. The ride is very smooth. The 2.0L Turbo has much more power than you would think. I don't think the 0 - 60 time is far off from my 2004 Maxima SE. The 6 speed automatic is smooth shifting and the Tiptronic transmission works better than most of the manual over automatic shifters out there. The fit and finish of the car is as good as anything out there. I got the leather package and xenon adaptive headlights. It is still early, but this is a really well built car.

I bought a new 2007 VW Passat on looks alone. The car has been in the dealership for repair on a regular basis. It did'nt bother me when the car was under warrenty. However I just paid my last payment in July and the car went off warrenty a few months before. The engine light went on the day before Thanksgiving and I brought it to the dealer, the service manager called and went thru a list of problems. The list started with emissions problems, and ended with oil leaking into the engine. I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership and got a manager. I told him that I would like them to buy the car back because I do not want it anymore. Apparently they do not want it either. Go figure.
