I bought this TDI SW a couple of years ago post dieselgate. I love the sporty handling and acceleration and the spaciousness of the wagon. The radio is a sore point in that the AM reception is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. FM and Bluetooth play is pretty good though. Also, when you're in reverse gear the AM radio just makes noise until a few seconds after putting it in forward, part or neutral. Considering an after market audio system. My biggest regret is getting one with the panoramic sunroof. First, in heavy rain or sometimes a car wash the drainage system can't handle the volume of water and comes out the ceiling near the vanity mirror lights. I discovered I could flush the drainage passages with small tubing and blowing it out with a compressor. I think it's time for another flush. Pretty ridiculous for a modern car to have such an engineering goof. Another thing: the sunroof "cover" or screen which is on the inside, the fabric is detaching from the side rails. Also a design goof. So much for vaunted German engineering. I do enjoy driving it though and hope that I'll get good longevity and low maintenance cost in the meantime. But if I get dinged with increasing issues and costs I'll sell the POS off.

Excellent cargo capacity, great mileage, and super fun to drive. Reviews noted a slight hover when accelerating from a start, which is present, but it comes on like gangbusters right after. Haven't figured out how to connect our phones but looking forward to that to enable CarPlay.
