First Toyota--Venza Rocks

I went from a Murano to the Venza. I need room for big product. It has the feel of a lexus without the same "see me, I have a Lexus" statement which I did not want for a company car. One business associate said the wheels looked like they belong in the hood. I took it as a compliment. It has a great feel and ample power. Our other vehicle is a BMW 330xi. This vehicle does not have that "grin while you drive" sense but I enjoy getting in it every day and I love the cargo bay. We are cyclists and are gone a number of weekends. We could put a full hitch on it and can haul lots of gear. I have not raved about a vehicle other than the Beemer in a long time. I think Toyota hit a home run.

Less appealing as the miles add up

We have had ours over a year now and 34,000 m. The first 20,000 miles were great, but lately lots of problems both major and minor have croped up. This cuv has many rattles inside, one required the removal of the windshield, dash assembly, and centre console to fix! now we just notice the other ticks, and creeks inside. The rear struts have been replaced twice now and the sub assembly re-shimed. the steering seems to wander, Toyota said this is the E-assist and is not adjustable. The interior materials are wearing VERY quickly and are of low quality. Currently it is on day 16 at the shop waiting for a new transmission, Common on this model they say. this is the E-assist and is non adjstable

I love my new 2010 toyota venza i got it at the end of sept. I does fantastically good in the snow without AWD. The ride is like an suv (bumpy). Its wider than the 2000 toyota 4runner (and alot more room). I love the interior quality. Everyone thinks that this car was like very expensive. mine was 30k. My cousin confused it with an infiniti. toyota did a great job on this car. the gas mileage is great about 320 miles per tank. I have the panoramic roof and its wonderful. The engine has alot of power i go too fast too easily in this car.

Love my 2010 Venza!

Purchased my 2010 Venza in 2012 with 27k miles on it and got it at a fantastic low price with every bell and whistle offered. My car has the panoramic moon roof (love it...kids love it...we watch the rain fall from inside...every car should have this feature), V6, JBL sound system, leather seats, 20" sport wheels, automatic everything. Currently at 71k miles and not an ounce of issues, just oil changes, brakes and tires so far. The backseat has a lot of leg room for this size car and I still get compliments on it and people are surprised just how big it is inside. Car research indicates that this is a great car and will be reliable for many more miles and years. Love the backseat folding option which opens up a lot of cargo space. This said, we still take my husband's oldie but a goodie Acura MDX on roadtrips and large purchases at Home Depot because the MDX has a bigger, taller cargo space. For toting around town and bringing dogs and kids on short trips, this car is a winner and I'm sad that they no longer make it because the formula feels right. Only negatives for me are that the drivers seat tends to cause leg and back fatigue and I run the heated seat a lot to stay comfortable, which is a negative for long trips,it and several of the moving interior parts have not worn well such as the center console lid and rear seat console lid (both are broken without rough use), and I cracked the windshield cleaning the car which may have been my fault, but it didn't seem like it should crack by the wiper blade being dropped down. Overall, I can fix all of these things and keep on going and going so still a A or B+ in my book.

It has been a year ( and 2 weeks) Since I got my 2010 Toyota Venza. It's Fun To Drive compared to my previous vehicle (2000 toyota 4runner). The sterring may be light but it is very agile. The ride is bumpy but I got over it. It's Great in the snow. I feel safe in it and it handles well in wet conditions. The color is fantastic. Very comfortable seats and good (front visibility) the Back up camera helps alot. The bluetooth streaming audio is fabulous.
