Overrated
Was looking forward to having a Tacoma for many years but after just three years I sold it. Both Toyota and the dealership would not honor paint warranty after just 16months. Basic bird droppings removed paint down to the primer. That along with a very uncomfortable cabin on rides over an hour long I decided that truck wasn't for me. I also use the vehicle for hunting. I always trailer a 5x8 steel trailer for my gear. Loaded with approx 800 lbs of gear and the weight of the trailer we're probably talking about 2000 lbs. Braking is iffy and climbing mountain hills shows the limits of this truck even with the V6. Sorry, but not impressed, actually very disappointed.

Great so far
This is my first taco, but I have owned a GMC 1500, Chevy Z71, and a Ford Superduty; this truck is built better than any of those. The CVT transmission is taking a little time to get used to, but is not as bad as some have reported.

MY GRAND TACOMA
THE TOYOTA TACOMA IS A GREAT TRUCK. I HAVE HAD A 2016 SR5, A 2018 TRD SPORT AND NOW HAVE A 2019 TRD OFF ROAD. ALL HAVE BEEN GREAT AND TROUBLE FREE. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL.
