While the no high performance disc brakes in the rear/all around and the cop out excuses for why it does not come with that are a pain, the truck performs well. The Trucks interior is very nice and quiet. It handles off road very well. It tows for its size very well. It is super reliable. Looks good in TRD trims. Some Functions on the steering wheel that applies to stereo control are backwards for the U.S. It accelerates well as long as you have it in S mode. The truck tries to stay two gears too high when driving in D mode. A re tune of the Transmission would solve this. Simple software fix really.

I drive a 09 Tac. Bought it new best truck I ever owned, frame rust =recall dealer gave me 2019 Tac same as my truck as a loaner, for 6weeks I drove this after the 2nd week I was convinced my 09 drove better then the loaner, I found it was a hard ride seemed sluggish, so I would more then likely not buy a new one.

This is my second Tacoma. I previously owned a 2017. The only reason for me trading my 2017 was I wanted leather and moonroof. My 2017 never had any issues and traded it in with almost 64k miles and proved reliable, commuting to Boston everyday and New England winters ! The looks of these trucks has made me fall in love. The advanced safety tech is great to have. The switch gear for the sliding rear window is taking some getting used from my previous one. The truck rides like a truck and I love it .The trifold bed cover is practical and good quality. I wish there was a cubby in the middle console for rear passengers besides the cup holders. Also, love for them to add a heated steering wheel and ventilated seats but you can’t have everything You can’t beat the resale value of these trucks and never had an issue with this generation. People complain about power, this is a truck, not a car. I’ve never been like this is too slow and since this is my second I’m sure you can tell it’s one of the best trucks out there. Period!! Bulletproof def!

Don't trust dealer. Make sure and dbl ck paper work. Truck is fine

We bought our Limited Tacoma at Christmas and "What a Present! No Coal for us! We are Soooooo Happy with our Limited Toyota Tacoma. It's the best truck we have owned by far. Our next vehicle will be a Toyota... maybe a new SUV next. Thank You Toyota for a GREAT RIDE! Best Toy we have ever purchased!
