This Truck is low on both power and MPG. It was so bad that I traded it off after only 6 months, $7000.00 loss, but worth it. ______ Don't buy_______

I own 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport double cab. It was a replacement of my Toyota 2009. I tough by upgrading my Toyota with feature of that year will provide me with much comfort and technology upgrade. Well, fox I should alert you it is not enough. after 4 months of my purchase, I receive an email and letter that entune software is eliminating few apps without any compensation from Toyota Manufacturing. My Toyota Tacoma 2018 is fully equipped from the original date of purchase. I found out after installing the roof rack at initial purchase that It makes squeezy noise and I did alert my dealer at that time about the issue. So they replace it immediately but still make noise in a certain position when you place the bar lined up horizontally. The dealer could not fix this anomaly even he reported to the manufacture and Toyota Corporation. I was not satisfy with the outcomes without any compensation. next, another issue start to happened within an interval of few months which is the rubber of the front bumper started to peal as well as the rubber of the top of the rack. The dealer start talking to the Corporate office and the Corporate specialist indicated that the dealer should proceed with gluing those defective part, that all. I am very frustrated and upset as a loyal customer purchase four vehicle from this organization. This is a lemon vehicle and it should be investigated by the authorities. I will be filling a lawsuit against the manufacture and hope for the best. To all future consumers, don't buy this particular vehicle: Toyota Tacoma. this is a true story and be aware. It is a lemon car

Transmission.... it is HORRIBLE. I bought my Tacoma back in June of 2018 and I still can't get use to it at those random upshifts. It feels like truck has no power (anemic), and for some reason transmission is refusing to down shift, which makes entire truck feels like like it's shaking . Even when you go uphill, truck refuses to hold on (stay) to the the lower gear, which makes you start loosing acceleration, and then you have to burry your foot in that accelerator pedal to get it going , because slowly pressing on it will not work...literally I would be pressing on it and truck would not accelerate, until I floor it... then it would jump all crazy while engine screaming... I found my self pressing that ECP button every time I drive damn thing... I was thinking about taking it to the dealership, ands see if they can do some kind of transmission software update.

After reading reviews for a few weeks and watching videos, I bought my first Tacoma. I absolutely love it and couldn’t be happier. No regrets and I would definitely recommend this truck.

Bad engine in a new 2018 Tacoma

Engine stutters or misfires under light acceleration or when going up a hill. Dealer has done some “upgrades” on computer that didn’t work. I had a toyota engineer ride with me and said he could tell there was a problem with the engine. I got a call from Toyota a couple of days later and they said the truck was operating like it should and there was no problem with it. I don’t trust this new truck at all. This is my first and last toyota.
