Used 2017 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Consumer Reviews
A big piece of junk!!!!! the worst truck ever.
The truck is under powered, has a noise in the rear end between 55 and 65. gas mileage trouble. i cant believe toyota built a piece of junk like this I owned a lot of Toyotas but this truck is bad . Got rid of the truck lost my butt. bought a tundra love it. I get better gas mileage with the tundra 4.6, over all way better truck.

Good Truck
If performance is important, you should get a 6cyl, otherwise the 4 cyl is fine for a retirement truck. Great conveniences, sound system, navigation is through a phone app, but it suits my purposes.

great truck- but wish I got a V6 instead of 4
this is my daily driver and only vehicle of 2 years. I use the bed frequently and have made adjustments for my preferences electronically and on the interior. Never had any issues or breaks so far. I have found it very easy to work on myself for various body damage repairs, and I live in the city and get 19 mpg. I do not tow but it does have a hitch. I will say though- really wish I had a 6 cylinder. The acceleration is a little weird and lacking. And has given me more scares than I'd like to admit in rain and ice. I don't consider myself a heavyfooted driver and havent had these issues in other vehicles but because of the funky acceleration have found my from-stop-to-go disappointing and concerning in slick weather.
