2024 Toyota Sequoia Consumer Reviews

Huge disappointment
I was so excited to get the new 2024 Sequoia, had a 4-runner for 8 years (only bc a tree fell on it and totaled it or I would have had it longer), then 2012 Platinum Sequoia for 12 years. No problems with either one!!!! Then came the 2024, the excited lasted about 1 year…needless to say it is currently in the shop and I was put in a loaner mini-van due to Transmission failure. They initially said I put bad gas in it, but when I pulled up at the dealership and they heard the grinding and squealing I think they realized that was far from the problem. They have as many have mentioned about the Tundra issues….they have never seen this and have the Toyota Engineers working on it. No ETA on fix. So, will just say if you are thinking of trading in your 2012-2020 Toyota DON’T!!!! They are hard-core and will obviously continue to outlast the current new models!!!

Capstone disappointment
The cargo area is hard carry groceries or things because of different levels in the floor. Fuel economy is terrible. It wouldn’t get 20mpg running down hill all the time. 16mpg is best we get. I haven’t figured out why it has a generator because it doesn’t help but to burn gas. Toyota can do better

Roadworthy Brute
Does exactly what you would expect from Toyota.
No buyer's remorse!
The twin turbo v6 paired with the hybrid makes great power. Beautiful car and made with the great quality you've come to know and love with Toyota.
