Toyota put a brand new frame and related parts ( About $10,000 of new parts on a 14 year old vehicle.) on a year ago due to some rust issues. Thank you Toyota. 170,000 miles and going strong.

Bought my Toyota and it already had 80K miles on it. I used it to tow my G35 coupe on a car hauler from Michigan to California. Probably was approaching the max tow capacity of the Toyota but it pulled through like a champ. Even through the mountains of Colorado it pulled fine. It is a great drive and very comfortable as well as roomy. Tremendous quality and peace of mind with this vehicle as I would expect from Toyota, particularly in the fit and finish. No rattles, no funny noises of any kind. At over 90K miles it drives like new. I would buy a Sequoia with 100K+ miles on it before a new domestic any day... very unfortunate for the American companies.
Still Loving It

Bought this SUV new in 2001. Traded in a 4 Runner. Now have nearly 100M miles. We have had no mechanical problems of any kind. Great Vacation Car. Great Car for hauling kids stuff to college. The highway comfort and ride is the best I have experienced in any vehicle. It is large for hauling stuff but there is no bouncing or truck like handling. No rust, no rattles, steering and brakes still solid after nearly 10 years. We don't drive off road, but the Sequoia is great in the snow here in Chicago. Good speed and acceleration for highway passing. Mileage is superb for a vehicle this size. Better than our Acura MDX and friend's Explorer.
Drive her till she drops !!!

We have driven this Sequoia since 2001 new have had no problems with it, I did have to replace the radiator( hit a bird) and normal wear and tear items brakes, plugs, one headlight bulb. this has been an exceptional vehicle, I have no complaints, I think if the motor went out I would buy a crate motor and keep on going. love to drive it, pull my boat to the lake with it.I have had the maintenance done every 5000 miles with full synthetic Valvoline oil and the oil stays clean between oil changes. have never had the transmission fluid changed, shifts great. My wife drove it the first 212,000 miles transporting our 2 boys to school and their activities after school, just been a great vehicle !!! Thank you TOYOTA.
