Used 2005 Toyota RAV4 SUV Consumer Reviews
Disturbing chirping noise
All that I can say is that I love the performance of my 2005 RAV4 except for the disturbing "chirping" noise that consistently occurs when going over mild bumps in the road. It is very annoying and the dealership cannot resolve the problem after making 5 service appointments. The noise seems to be coming from where the lower part of the windshield meets the cal panel. I'm not sure I spelled that correctly. Anyway, this problem ruins the entire fun of driving this vehicle. Sorry, I can't recommend a RAV4 to anyone. ... disappointed buyer.
Bring back the "smaller" rav
We purchased this vehicle for all our short distance trips, ie. 300 miles or less (We are also fortunate to own an '06 highlander limited, for the longer trips). Love the RAV! Hate to see the "smaller" RAV go! It is LEXUS quality thru and thru. This is the 10th Toyota we've owned... not because of ANY problems...just really love our Toyotas! Also own a 1998 "L" model, with 100K miles which we will keep forever, as a third spare vehicle. Wouldn't hesitate to take the '98 to Florida or California (We live in OHIO) I highly suggest and recommend ANY toyota product, including the hybrids. Toyota's attention to detail and quality are second to none!

my review
I really love my car. I really haven't found anything that i don't like about it. they have put everything in there and in the right places. when pulling a small motorcycle camper behind it, we get surprisingly great gas mileage too.
Love this Rav 4 Toy
Bought brand new in 2005, here it is 2022 and still runs like a gem. Only replaced tires , brakes and battery. As an occasional driver (100K miles)

Great Disappointment
I used to think Toyota was a quality organization that was reponsive to customers. Unfortunately I could not have been more wrong. Buying this car was one of the worst mistakes of my life.
