Gas over $2.00/gal? No problem!

While I had to wait for my new Prius for 2 months, I have only owned my Prius for about a month. I am really loving it so far. I took it for a road trip of 400 miles each way and averaged 47.5 miles to the gallon on the highway. No complaints there!!! And the hatchback style is very convenient. I waited for several years for someone to come out with a convenient 4-door hatch.

One Of the Best I've owned

I own the 2004 Toyota Prius which is about 5 steps up from my last car, a 2002 Toyota Prius. I can't say enough of how much I've enjoyed my first Prius and now the new one is even better. I have driven Lexus cars prior to my first Prius and appreciate a fine car, but the Prius has been great and I have absolutely no complaints but only accalades for the car.

Have had the car for only a week now after a three-month wait after ordering. This is a great car. It rides, accelerates and handles excellently. Its gas mileage is phenomenal. The fit and finish of the vehicle also is excellent, up to the usual Toyota/Lexus standards.

Best car I ever owned

This is my second hybrid, and I am very satisfied with it. Despite the hilly country in which we live, our mpg ranges in the mid 40s. The care itself has a firm , reliable feel to it, and its responses are quick.

This is a great car. The main problem is that you'll have to pay more than the sticker since the car has such a long waiting list (about 5 to 6 months for the popular colors and packages). I was surprised at the roominess of this car. Lots of leg room in the back seats. Also, the engine power is good too. I live on a steep hill and the car has no problems making it up. I highly recommend this car, although if you are buying it mainly to save money on gas, I don't think it would be worth it since it is usually marked up quite a bit by the dealers.
