Used 2003 Toyota Matrix Consumer Reviews
I LOVE THIS CAR
I thought I wanted a RAV4, but after I drove the Matrix I took it home. The one I test drove had all the features I wanted or needed, and the more I drive it, the happier I am with it. I thought I would hate those notorious red neon dials, but they are very good for night driving. The inside is roomy and comfortable, the hatchback is convenient. I feel like I got more than my money's worth with this car.
Love My Matrix
I went from a Mustang Convertible v8 engine to a Toyota Matrix 4 cylinder. The adjustment was so much easier that I had imagined. I test drove many of the other wagons, including the Rav4, and I felt the handling of the Matrix was superior to the rest. The ride is smooth and quiet. The interior is roomy and comfortable. It can seat 5 easily. It is smooth riding in the back seat.

Consider the Vibe too!
I test drove both the Vibe GT and the Matrix XRS and contrary to what the Toyota salesmen may state, the cars are interiors and mechanics of the cars are identical. Really, the main difference is that Pontiac consistently seems to offer more rebates, financing incentives, and seems to haggle more. Be sure to price out both before you make a decision!
This car was made for me!
This car was made for me! I love it!!!
Buy XRS if you can!!
Although I am very happy with my white Matrix, I am not used to 130 Horse Power (HP) after driving V6 Maxima for many years. Don't get me wrong. 130 HP is good enough, but more HP could of have been better. I should of pay a couple more thousands to get XRS model. Remember XRS comes with 180HP and 17 inch wheel vs XR only come with 130 HP with 16inch wheel. I haven't seen any White Matrix. White is much better than silver. Toyota silver are ugly! Get either Cosmic blue, or red.
