Great car/suv/wagon. All the flexibility of an suv without the extra cost and low fuel mileage. Great MPG, great interior and exterior design. I can take my dog and all my stuff and still have room for more. All the car I wanted at a reasonable price

I couldn't be happier - Have an XR with both sport packages, moonroof, in white. Very nice car - not as squishy comfortable as a full-size American sedan, but not bad. Lots of room, I'm 6', 250# and there's plenty of headroom and legroom. I like the way the cargo area configures with the back seats folded down.

The test drive opened my senses!

I was originally looking for a Corolla S 5-speed, and waited a month with no luck. My salesman's nephew (also a salesman)suggested I test drive the XRS Matrix. I said, "OH no...the Matrix is DEFINITELY not me..." And he said, "Allow the car to speak for itself." I stepped inside and he pulled the car off the lot and ZOOOOOM! Then he let me drive it, and here I am now with a Indigo Ink Pearl (Blue) XRS Matrix! It actually has all the features I'd ever want and more. Designers truly had versatility & performance in mind. I love this car =)

This is by far the best car made for the price. I was looking for an all around vehicle, with some hauling capability and good gas mileage. But I didn't want an SUV and I also didn't want to spend a fortune. It's extremely reliable - so far ;-) - and is a blast to drive. I have the base model w/auto and though I've heard others complain about the lack of power, I never have any problems passing when needed. A fantastic car, that's for sure!

Before I bought this car I had an elderly Camry wagon with close to 300,000 miles on it. We do a lot of traveling so I wanted a new car. I fell in love with the MATRIX the first time I saw it. It is the perfect size and I love the sunroof. My husband and I travel all over California and into some parts of Nevada and we have really enjoyed this car. it is very comfortable and quite spacious for the two of us and all of our stuff. I am so glad that we bought it and I plan on driving it for many years to come.
