The best truck for family
Is excellent, this car only damage the starter in nine years.
"Love this truck"
I have been a toyota family for two decades now. Since I owned this landcruiser, I drove it from Southern California up to Alaska passing thru British Columbia and Yukon Territory. It never gives me a problem from those winding road of Oregon-Mt. Shasta to the hills of BC, Yukon and Alaska in all types of weather condition or on/off road.

Very dissappinted
Purchased the vehicle with about 34500 miles. So far it has needed a new computer, new driver's side window(the power window linkage failed)and is now in the shop with unknown problems. Driving at freeway speed the vehicle started to "herky jerky" along with "bouncing tach" plus, check auto transmission oil temp and brake light illuminated. On the way to dealer the vehicle stopped running with "strange grinding type" noises coming from engine/transmission. Dealere unable to duplicate problem Bottom line...my first experience with a Toyota has been very dissappointing and I will likely be back in a Lincoln by the end of the week!
aptly named
Rock solid chasis. bulletproof engine and drivetrain. Quiet and smooth V8. Flawless fit and finish, great paint color selections. Extreme comfort for all passengers. Brakes work well. Easy to service. Awesome snow traction. Decent highway gas mileage. Now have 54K miles still on original tires with 20K remaining on tread!
