This is an extremely reliable suv. Ours is over 100K and has had only very minor repairs, all under warranty, primarily small electrical issues. Great car, extremely reliable and very functional. Despite negative reports, we consistently get 12-14 mpg in the city and 15 - 18 on the highway -- not great but equal or better to our friends with newer SUVs! We're very happy with our landcruiser.

There is not a more reliable rig in the backcountry and rides smooth in town. I am not particularly easy on vehicle and drive my Land cruiser for its intended purpose. The rig is tough as nails and exremely reliable. Gives me a great sense of comfort. It's never left me stuck in the middle of nowhere.

I have this 1993 L/C right now with 117500 miles and thid a safety free of problem vehicle poor in fuel consume but a reliable auto before i haved 1993 with 350000 miles and continious running i dont change a landcruiser

After desiring a Landcruiser for several years, I purchased the most amazing and beautiful V6 Toyota Landcruiser in 1993. The design was fabulous! Her exterior color was elegant and the interior was amazing! We traveled together for 11 years. My LC was amazing. When I finally decided I may need a newer Landercruiser….you would not believe the experiences I had with my 93 LC. She had over 350,000 miles on her engine,. I have so many stories of this amazing vehicle: great memories. Two stand out: in 1994 while traveling over the Tetons highest level at 10,000 ft,, the mountain decided to provide an avalanche. A tourist bus was just ahead of the avalanche...they made it through. There were a number vehicles ahead of us and many more behind us: none could get through. As I sat there, It appeared that the east bound lane while covered in snow was safe....it was apparent that approximately 30' to the East bound lane,, a driver could go over the edge (yikes)! HMMMM! I pulled to the left of the vehicles in front of me and got through the avalanche. As I drove by the travel bus with the passengers from Germany, they stood up and applauded......OMG! This vehicle was amazing!!!!! I have another great story but will forgo the details; I purchased a V8 in 2001. I LOVE TOYOTA LANDCRUISERS!!!!! If you want the best of the best.....Toyota LandCruiser!
