A truly outstanding value. Very pleasant to drive and very ergonomic for driver and passengers. This car has drawn many compliments...it really is a car shaped like a SUV.

Love my Highlander

I love my Highlander, the body reminds me more of a van than an SUV and that is the only thing I don't care for. But, there is really nothing I would change about my car. I like that there are plenty of drink holders in the car so you don't have to worry about anyone dropping their drinks. It is very easy to keep clean, no hard areas that you can't reach.

Loving my new suv!!!

The Highlander is a pure crossover suv. It has the body of an suv, but the smooth ride of a car. The Highlander is also $10000 less than the Lexus RX300. I received my suv with a quick order package and extra options for about $24000, which is a bargain.

A Good Choice

I purchased my Toyota Higlander after test driving the Honda CRV, the Toyota RAV 4, the Mazda Tribute, and the Toyota Matrix. The Highlander had car like handling, ample cargo space, and excellent gas mileage. I opted for the 4 cylinder to take advantage of the excellent gas mileage it offered. While the car is not overly peppy, it is very adequate for my needs. Performance fans should opt for the 6 cylinder. I also opted for the running boards, which are lighted and leather seats, which I love. I've had this car for 10 months now and the more I drive it, the better I like it!

I probably should've test drove the car a couple more times and I probably would have realized that while driving the foot pedals are not in the most convenient location...maybe it's just my height--6'. It's just not as comfortable driving as I wanted. The most disapointing though has to be the gas mileage. We only get 20 city and 22 highway...(should be 22 and 27). Took it to the dealer and found out that is within their specifications somehow and basically have to deal with it. Quite unfortunate and very disapointing.
