Excellent SUV
We traded in our 2000 Jeep Cherokee as we wanted something more roomy and better gas mileage. We got both with the 2003 Highlander. We got the 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder model. We can't say enough about the comfort of this vehicle. IT is one of the best riding vehicles we have had and it handles very nice. A couple minor things we don't care for is the light interior that came with our silver Highlander and the cup holder. Other than that we love our Highlander!
The Best SUV in the segment
Great SUV Quiet smooth engine and aceleration, Great Quality and solid build and Best Value in its segment. Just like a Lexus but without the Leater and High Cost.

Highly Impressed
Everything u read about the reviews are correct. This car will leave u highly impressed. It's very roomy and comfortable inside. The reclining back seat will get u alot of ooohs and ahhhs. U don't really get that feeling of driving a heavy SUV. This car feels like it's gliding over the road. All the added bells and whistles in the Limited edition will make u so glad that u raked in a couple of more $$ a month.
Best of all worlds
We have had this Highlander since late 2001. We had to purchase the Limited to get Vehicle Skid Control. It is AWESOME. Both VSC and the car. It is the smoothest ride we ever had in any car including a rental Caddy. VSC has saved us once each winter! Best of the best, no question!
Incedible
The Highlander has been the most pleasant driving experience. I was extremely surprised at how comfortable this SUV was to drive long distances and handle like a car. Thank you Toyota for one incredible vechicle.
