LUV IT!

This is not my first Toyota vehicle so I expected reliability. It has met all my expectations. I tow two different boats with them loaded and I feel very safe. I have to drive many times through the night and I need to feel safe. It has proven itself through a tough winter. Handles very easily and I'm complimented on the ride all the time.

Great car. Room that we needed and the luxury we didn't think we could get in an SUV that wasn't an BMW or a Lexus.

Edmunds is showing over invoice pricing. Bought $1000 under invoice with rebate ($1000). Invoice plus rebate is a good target. Probably will get better in near future. Birmingham dealer advertising double rebate ($2000). Not sure deducted from what. Auburn dealership won't deal. Dick Dyer Toyota in Columbia SC showing $3000 to $4500+ off MSRP on net site without haggling.

I absolutely love the car! The ride is smooth and sure. I feel safe and comfortable when driving. The dealership was great although when I went to get the inspection sticker I was told an hour and a half wait was required. In fairness though, when I objected, the car was immediately inspected. I test drove many SUV's before deciding on the Highlander and I made the best choice by far.

Excellent SUV

We traded in our 2000 Jeep Cherokee as we wanted something more roomy and better gas mileage. We got both with the 2003 Highlander. We got the 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder model. We can't say enough about the comfort of this vehicle. IT is one of the best riding vehicles we have had and it handles very nice. A couple minor things we don't care for is the light interior that came with our silver Highlander and the cup holder. Other than that we love our Highlander!
