This is my 9th vehicle in 20 years of driving, and I must say, it is the BEST one so far. I am a TOYOTA convert thanks to my ECHO, with build quality better than a $40k Caddy....lol

A great little car. I average high 40's fuel economy in the city even though it is rated low 40's. My highway mileage is somewhat lower since I tend to drive too fast. It seems to have a natural highway speed resonance of about 80-85. I have sometimes found myself over 100 mpg.

Shaky steering wheel was really bad but dealer finally fixed it, mostly, tho it still does shake. Wipers were bad when new and just got worse. Do not clean the windshield.

I get great mileage and that is important since I'm in college. Lots of head room. I've not had one problem since I bought the car.

Excelent car. On average I get 39 miles to the galon. The bigest problem I have with the car is the salesmen were realy pushing that you can go 7500 miles between oil changes when in reality if you read the manual 5000 is more like it unless your drive in perfect conditions. But 5000 miles is not bad and the car drives great.
