Used 2010 Toyota Corolla Consumer Reviews
So Far, Almost an A+
I really don't know where some of these negative reviews are coming from. I am 60 years old and used to sell Toyotas back in the 1980s, when you where lucky if you could buy one for MSRP. People where getting on lists to wait for one and most where sold by the time they hit the lot. This car is so much better in all aspects than the Toyota Corollas of those days. I love the way it looks and drives, not to mentions the 35 mpg that I averaged on the 1st 3 tanks of gas. I paid right at invoice for the car and got 60 months at 0% financing and because I traded in a 12 yr old Toyota Sienna with 170,000 miles on it, I was given a 2-year free maintenance agreement at no additional cost.
Gas mileage
I love this car! The mileage has been shocking... 25 city right on the button, but the highway has been an unbelievable 45.7 miles per gallon @ 65 miles per hour on cruise. I love this car!
Moving down or up?
Just totaled a 2001 MR2 Spyder and bought a new 2010 corolla S instead. I have driven normal corolla and wasn't expecting much out of the S model, but I was surprised. It was well rounded and much nicer. It is not by any means fast, but it does way better than you would expect a 132hp sedan to do. Overall the look is great, awesome gas mileage, and an unbelievably good interior for the price I paid (which I got one hell of a deal). If you are looking at one but the name "corolla" scares you off, give it a shot anyway, you might be surprised.
Good Car
I have leased this car for 5 months now, driven 2500 miles and have had no problems so far. The car gets great mileage, I gas up once every other week. For those that say it is bad, fuel economy declines rapidly past 60 mph for all cars. Drive slower. I do agree with others, the steering is bad when there is a lot of wind. Also I dislike how the ABS comes on after every bump while breaking. Other than that it is a great car that looks great. I also like the sequential shift, it makes finding gears fun and adds class. Would buy again, but at a lower price. The interior is cheap for the high cost.
Vibrates like a 20 year old car
I do not want you to make the same mistake, even though I bought brand new 2010 car, the car vibrates like a 20 year old car, you can feel the vibration in the steering wheel, doors, seats. I told the dealer about the vibration and his answer was that all Toyota corolla vibrates and that I am not driving BMW.
