Used 2010 Toyota Corolla Consumer Reviews
Great compact car for the money
Just got this vehicle for my wife and she just LOVES it. I own 2 other Toyotas and it is just as dependable as my 4 runner and tacoma. Excellent gas mileage and for a small car very comfortable. Traded in a Lincoln Towncar so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as ride quality but was very surprised that it was quite comfortable.
Really well designed car, efficient.
My Dad still drives his '94 Camry. So when I wanted a reliable car, I went with Toyota. The 2010 Corolla LE is fantastic. Very aesthetically pleasing design, comfortable seats with height adjustment. TONS of standard safety features (A big selling point), good enough engine with unbelievable fuel efficiency. A great AM/FM/CD/Aux sound system comes standard, as well. I did not encounter a very touchy steering wheel at all. It controls very well. The brakes are responsive and stopped me quickly in wet conditions without a skid. The abundance of standard airbags and ABS makes me more comfortable to transport friends or family.

Corolla S- A giant leap backward
Very disappointed. I replaced my 16 year old Honda Civic with a new Corolla S. The Corolla has developed atrocious steering, handling, and braking issues after 3000 miles. This was not evident during test drives. The fuel economy is not that all impressive at around 28 mpg. The dealer has tried to help but these issues are related to the vehicle's design cannot be corrected. Amazing, using advanced technologies and materials- Toyota has managed to replicate the driving feel of my dad's 53 Chevy which had worn ball joints and air in the brake lines.
Llights on alarm
I have 500 miles on this car and am very happy with it. The only problem I have is the warning chime for lights on and key left in ignition. It's virtually inaudible. Brought to the dealer for repair. They told me nothing could be done under warranty but for 180 dollars they could fix it. Left a bad taste
Could be better finish - poor gas mileage
I am a Toyota fan and have owned many including 3 Corollas, This 2010 falls short compared to its peers in terms of interior finish (hard and cheap feeling compared to wife's 2010 Rabbit). Gas mileage is at least 30% less than advertised and no amount of TLC seems to make a difference. Steering a bit erratic. Cheap warning buzzer. Running perfectly according to dealer. Would not buy another one at this price.
