My Toyota

I like this car for its looks and gas mileage. Seems to be enough room for my 6ft. 2in frame at 230 lbs. Power seems to be ok. It does get up and move pretty well. My last vehicle (Chevy s- 10 Zr2) the gas gauge moved as fast as the tach. 13 miles to the gallon didn't get it. Besides having some bad experiences with the dealership that I purchased the Chevy from. Its a shame when You have been a customer for 13 yrs and the dealership treats you in a bad way. All in all it's quite the car. The price isn't bad. I'm tired of these more expensive rides that get no gas mileage. It's a shame that these gas eaters are still around. Being retired, there is no way I'm paying for all that gas.

Economical but boring

I tried to like this car. It's relatively inexpensive, it gets great gas mileage, and Toyotas tend to be super-reliable. Our Corolla is all of that, but it's boring to drive, and I just cannot find a comfortable seating position in this car. I've adjusted everything that can be adjusted and I still get pain in my lower back and upper legs after driving this car for more than 45 minutes. I ended up giving my wife this car, and I started driving our 04 Golf TDI. My wife is happy enough with the car so we still have marital bliss. But, I have to say that I probably will not buy another one like this unless the redesigned models have improved seating.

A "PRETTY GOOD" LITTLE CAR

I like the comfort for a small car, even in the rear seats. The trunk isvery spacious. Great gas mileage - got 41 on a long trip, get 30 - 33 around town. Handles well, but the ride is a bit harsh. Biggest complaint are dash rattles and "buzzes" on coarse pavement. I also experience intermittent rattles - steering wheel and drivers door, that appear and then disappear - so they're hard to fix. I'm pretty disapointed in this lack of a "solid feel". Otherwise the car is fine. I rented one last week with 12,000 miles on it, it it was solid as a rock. Maybe mine was built on monday or friday.

The best car I've ever owned!

I love this car. I have had it for about a year now, and it has not let me down once. The gas mileage is amazing. I can drive for a whole week, and it will still be above half a tank. The overall ride is so comfortable. You definitely won't feel the road at all in this car. It handles well around turns and even lets you know when to turn on your headlights. I love it, it's a 10!
