Corolla XRS

2005 Toyota Corolla XRS 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 6M)

I had the car for 3000 miles now and over all it's been a great car. The other car I was considering other than the XRS was the Nissan Sentra SE-R Vspec. I have to admit the Sentra was more performance oriented but I checked out the car's reliability within the past few years and I'm not that impressed with it. Also I don't like the interior with the Sentra too so pretty much I ended up choosing the Corolla XRS.

I purchased my 2005 Corolla LE several weeks ago and very pleased so far. The interior is extremely refined and comfortable for a car in this price range. The rear seats have a lot of legand head room for a compact car. Driving is surprisingly smooth and comfortable by small car standards. Fuel economy is great - in mostly highway driving, I have been averaging about 36 mpg. Add in Toyota's sterling reputation for reliability and I highly recommend the Corolla to anyone looking for an inexpensive, but not "cheap" vehicle.

I have enjoyed every minute of owning my Corolla. The car is very reliable and even made out well when I took it on vacation for a week in the mountains where the roads were extremely icy. The interior has a lot of space, so even men enjoy driving it.

Just an overall great compact sedan. Of course driving it you would think it was compact. Quiet ride, good stability, and fun. With prices they way they are you are able to have a regular car that isn't a hybrid and still gives you great gas mileage to the gallon.

After owning 5 Hondas, I decided to try a Toyota. I've been very pleased with the overall performance, quality, and simplicity of this vehicle. The vehicle fits me very well (5'10") and it is comfortable to drive for an extended period of time. I am a little disappointed with the gas mileage I'm getting. I'm averaging 32 MPG (28 city and 37 highway). Great trunk space. The interior materials are top notch for a vehicle in this price range. Note: The trunk lid doesn't close as well as it should even after being adjusted.
