I have been driving a 92 Camry since 94, I drove it into the Dealer with 194k, I told them that since they only had 4 Corolla's on the lot that I would have to order mine, the dealer assured me that the were not in production anymore, so I settled on a Black Corolla S, it had all the options I wanted and more, except for the moon roof, wich the dealer promised me they could install and it would be exactly the same as the factory install, turns out it wasnt nothing like the factory install and after the 24 hour waiting period, I pressed the buttons and it didnt work, its under warranty so I guess they will be fixing it soon, at any rate, driving this car is extremly fun

So far, this car has lived up to its billing. I am getting 33+ mpg and love having 4 doors. It is relatively comfortable and I like the styling.

Wheel Bearings

My brother talked me into buying a Toyota and I do love it. However, I had to replace the drivers side wheel bearing in July of last year, no problem - I expect to have to pay for this type of maintenance. I had about 110,000 miles on it. A year later and 25,000 miles later - the same wheel bearing goes. I explain to the dealer that it doesn't make sense that I have to replace it yet again. The other one has never been replaced. They simply said its normal wear and tear because of the amount of miles I have put on it. We even called Toyota directly and we are waiting for some answers. Hopefully they will make it right. I was sold on Toyota, but may not be now. Will depend on how they respond.

Awesome car

We choose this car after months of research,we made the best choice. It is mineral green which is not like most greens you see. It is more like a silver green. Nice and small on the out side, easy to park in the city but roomy inside and we had a moonroof installed that just topped it off. The only problem is only one of us can drive it at a time.

We traded a 2000 Honda Civic which was fine and very reliable but tested the Corolla and fell in love with the ride, design inside and out and the size/safety features. It is bigger and seems to be better built than the Honda 2000 and 2002 models. Great car so far..only 2 weeks old.
