Used 1995 Toyota Corolla Consumer Reviews
Disappointing change
I have now owned several Toyota Corollas with this being my fifth. I purchased this 1995 model from my mother in law in 2001 when it only had about 10,000 km. Previously my Corollas were 5 speed so this is my first automatic. I was pleased with the car for the first couple of years but I've just recently had a large transmission job completed due to leaking seals. My mechanic told me this has been common to this year and model and I'm very disappointed that Toyota did not recall these vehicles and pay to have the transmissions fixed. I am also very annoyed at ongoing engine noise which occurs upon acceleration. The soft idle turns to a tank sound.
1995 toyota review
Probably the world's best auto design, for quality and reliability and economics. Toyota should be congradulated for making a sound investment in engineering and manufacture.
Toyota rocks
nothing but good
My years with a Toyota Corolla
Toyota Corollas are great cars. I'd chosen mine because of dependabilities and comfort. I trust the Toyota to deliver a high performance on travelling (gas mileage) and it does. I have gotten many compliments on the interior layout and received many admiring glances on my red car!
love it and miss it
I always brag about my little corolla (aka Corona the Corolla). She always ran great and I never had to put money into it, except for fluid changes and basic tune-up, which wasn't until recently. Unfortunately my little corolla was severely hit a couple of weeks ago and I may have to put her to sleep. So sad. But she did well. We're all very proud of her.
