iM Hatch AKA Scion iM
I bought my Scion iM the week Toyota said it was killing off the Scion brand.I have owned my iM about a year and half now I am now up to 8,700 miles and I still love it !! Local driving I am getting26- 28 mpg on highway trips I have hit 43.4 mpg .I love all the standard features and I have added front L.E.D fog lights they are offered in the aftermarket world not through dealers.I have also installed a cold air intake setup so it helps make it takeoff a lot better. This winter I bought four Bridgestone Blizzaks snow tires and separate winter rims for better traction in the snow ,the stock tires give you the mpg but not so great in winter conditions .Curt enterprises makes a hitch that bolts into the rear frame so installing a bicycle rack is a breeze.
What a Car
I had previously had a 2001 Corolla, yep 17yrs! What a great Car, nothing really wrong with it but just wanted an upgrade so I asked to look at Corollas and was shown the Sedan, which I knew I didn't want or care for since I Just had one like it, I was looking for something different. Next was the im, so I did the test drive and came back and asked about leasing options and after 4 hours I had myself an im! I absolutely don't like the car but LOVE IT!!!

Hatchback I am glad your here! ;)
I can honestly say great and wonderful things about my Corolla Hatchback! I owned a 2001 Toyota Corolla before this, yes drove it 17years, and hope to get that out or more years out of this great little car! I am only 5'2 female and I come from having some simple cars so I am Just happy with what is on this car, cause obviously the more stuff, the more to break. I've Just had this car two months and STILL look forward to driving it or will find reasons to go drive it ;) The Fuel economy is amazing as heck on this car!!!! I am blown away! So If your looking for a daily commuter car, with comfort, style and reliability..............THIS IS THE CAR!!!!

Overall Decent, but 4 out of 5 for a Reason
I bought a 2018 Toyota Corolla IM new in July of 2018 after being unexpectedly rear ended in my 2009 Corolla S and getting totaled. I've just crested over 50,000 miles as of the writing of this review. It's mainly good, but there's some negatives too. First of all, it looks great. The wheels are dope. The lines are nice. The interior is tasteful. I big thing that I like, is that there is only one way this car comes and with it being discontinued right after this year, the car will never look outdated due to a newer version of the car existing, and nobody will have the "bad version" or the "good version" because they're all the same version. Strangers seem to be impressed by the car. I've been asked several times if it's a hybrid, and I always tell them "I wish", and we'll get into that some more later. I've had people that drive luxury SUV's compliment how smooth and comfortable the car feels when they ride with me, and it DOES feel smooth driving down the road. Also on the inside, there are extensively more "soft touch" and quality interior trim parts in this car than a regular corolla of the same year that has the same cabin basically. Mechanically, just like my previous Corolla, the problems are almost non-existent. I did have a bunk battery, but that's it from parts that make the car move. So let's talk about some negatives. The MPG is trash for a car this age and this size. It's a 12 gallon tank. I'm a Realtor. I'm driving all sorts of roads at any time. I'm lucky if I get 380 miles out of the tank. While, yes, that's not bad compared to an 87 Deville, compared to other class competitors from the same year, it's on the low end. My 09 corolla had an 11 gallon tank and I'd constantly get 320-330 out of it. It's like it hasn't changed in 10 years, although I see better numbers from the '18 Camry. Next is the paint. It's still fragile as can be, which has been a problem of Toyota's. The exterior body is becoming less resilient as well. I have a small indentation in my front quarter panel, and I know exactly how it got there. Knowing the circumstances, I'm aghast that I have a small indentation in my quarter panel. I'm gonna tell you this too...I've had to use my warranty on two separate occasions to address my drivers seat either becoming un-stitched at the seams, or because the fabric has just been disintegrating away. I haven't experienced that with any car I ever had that had fabric seats, new or used. I don't know what they're doing, but they need to go back to properly upholstering something. Finally, I don't understand how a car in Econ mode that gets the comparatively low MPG to its class competitors that it does, winds up being SOOOOOOO SLOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW at accelerating. Toyota's just on that right now, but man you gotta jam on it just to get going. My 09 getting the same MPG would torch this thing off the green light. If you try to accelerate AND keep your gas usage meter under the econ threshold, you're demonstrably going slower than the flow of traffic. So this why it's a 4 out 5. It's a reliable car that's comfortable. It has nice little sprinkles of luxury. It looks snazzy. The back is big enough, but also a little skinny. The warranty issues I've had, the paint, the body composition, and the performance are what I'd consider to be substandard especially for a Toyota.
