Goodbye Toyota Sedans

2020 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl 8A)

Just test drove an LE AWD, it was sheer sadness. I am looking for an actual not a cross or suv etc and with AWD. So on the paper and YouTube videos looked and functioned perfect. Car dealership, Andy Mohr Toyota Avon Indiana, abject sadness, one female one male bubba behind ticket counters, salespeople aka gophers dangling around. Mind you I am a self selling buyer. Anyways, before I touch my butt I changed my mind about it, terminally. Wife drove it around 10 mins, I measure the noise in this crap as 86 db on black top, at 55 miles. Zero insulation, few strategically placed soft plastic, every inch of the interior screams bad and careless manufacturing, a 1998 Suzuki prolly used thicker hard plastics. Ah also you should check the door seals too, so thin, so cheaply made. Other top reviewer states the unresponsive gear, I agree 100 percent. Perhaps Toyota decided to build this for Ubers and rental fleets. Sticking fake grills, cool sporty appearance packages cannot salvage this crap. Avoid at all costs.

Uncomfortable.

We have had many toyotas over the years with each seat getting more uncomfortable. Any time over an hour in the car, and both of our backs hurt. Terrible for long drives. The engine noise is quite distracting when you accelerate quickly. Rear window is small.

Not a good car

Update, car was still a steaming pile so I traded it in. The Acura I got is 100times better quality. Good riddance! This car disappoints in Soo many ways. The car rides terribly. Vibration, engine noise, wind noise . It all is really bad. I have a 2021 Camry SE and it does nothing well at all. I had an older 2009 Camry that was fantastic! This car doesn't even come close. The seats are stiff, very little padding and uncomfortable. Everything is cheap plastic inside this car. It is really bad. Such a disappointment. I bought this car for reliability and the engine will probably go 200k miles but it will be 200k miles of completely lack of any good driving experience. I always knew Camrys we're more like appliances to get you from point A to point B, but this car makes you regret every mile you drive. I had the infamous battery drain several times. Time will tell if the software update fixed it. This car does nothing well. Get something else!

So far so good - Comfortable quiet ride

I've only had this car for about a week now, but so far so good. Quiet, comfortable ride, with enough power for most driving tasks (around town and highway). Obviously, the Camry is no sports car so it's not the fastest thing out there, but it's good reliable transportation (at least based on previous generations of the Camry and the Toyota brand). Would recommend this to anyone with a family or that wants a lot of space for carrying things or people. The trunk space and extra rear seat space is what sold me on the Camry (that and it has a regular automatic transmission with gears--and not a CVT like the Corolla--so it should last a long time if you take care of it--change the fluid regularly). Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. I will have to get used to the features of the car (the buttons on the steering wheel and audio system) but that is true with any new car/brand.

Awesome car for the money

I bought this car because it's a great value. I pick the Camry over a Honda because I didn't want the short lived CVT automatic transmission. Another reason I picked a Camry is it has an engine timing chain instead of a belt. I buy cars when I need them and I expect them to last with minimal repairs. Toyota has never disappointed me.
