Used 2020 Toyota Camry Sedan Consumer Reviews
Engine start up-high reving (1700 rpm)
Very high reving engine (1700 rpm) upon startup for 1 to 2 minutes before it settles down..Very enoying and Toyota cannot fix due to smog issues. Soooooo enoying that I would not buy again.

Fun to drive
Love the 8 speed transmission. Shift like a manual transmission! Engine brakes on downhills. Smooth ride, engine feels a lot stronger than my last Camry. Smaller tank but i’m getting 450 miles and still have a 1/4 left. The old coin holder is way better. now it’s made of cheap plastic that it feels like breaking every time I’m opening it! Rear speakers are mounted on doors. Alexa is moody only works 60% of the time apple carplay works 70% of the time. Pros Quiet ride Good fuel economy Dynamic cruise control Cons Remote only works around 10 ft i have the previous camry and it works100ft+ No rear seat Usb They forgot to angle the driver side wiper arm! You can’t raise the driver side wiper it will hit the hood! Drl uses the headlight When that LED LIGHT BURNS OUT$$$ After 6 months of driving 8k miles love the car! The transmission acts and shift like manual! People that are complaining about transmission hunting should learn how to control the throttle! If you hit the gas and let go it will shift to next higher gear it’s designed to shift up if you let go of the gas fuel saving. Same when I drive manual for fuel savings I shift at 3k rpm. If you want to hold gear hold that gas to 4-5k just let go a little it will shift up to the next gear if you punch the gas it will downshift. Hope that helps. 1 full tank i can easily get 500 miles Only get 4 ⭐️ for the non replaceable headlight and using Drl headlight! If that burns out 1k to replace and the drivers wiper blabe still annoys me that I can’t raise it! 1 engineer was sleeping and forgot all other Camry’s drivers side wiper can be raised!

2020 Camry
Upgraded from an older Camry model. Good for gas mileage and commuter car. Nice looking, good mid size car.
Goodbye Toyota Sedans
Just test drove an LE AWD, it was sheer sadness. I am looking for an actual not a cross or suv etc and with AWD. So on the paper and YouTube videos looked and functioned perfect. Car dealership, Andy Mohr Toyota Avon Indiana, abject sadness, one female one male bubba behind ticket counters, salespeople aka gophers dangling around. Mind you I am a self selling buyer. Anyways, before I touch my butt I changed my mind about it, terminally. Wife drove it around 10 mins, I measure the noise in this crap as 86 db on black top, at 55 miles. Zero insulation, few strategically placed soft plastic, every inch of the interior screams bad and careless manufacturing, a 1998 Suzuki prolly used thicker hard plastics. Ah also you should check the door seals too, so thin, so cheaply made. Other top reviewer states the unresponsive gear, I agree 100 percent. Perhaps Toyota decided to build this for Ubers and rental fleets. Sticking fake grills, cool sporty appearance packages cannot salvage this crap. Avoid at all costs.
