My Toyota Camry SE 2015 consistently gives me less that 28 miles/gal on freeways, which is well below their claim of 35 miles/gal. Same is the complaint from my neighbor who also bought the same model the same time I bought.

I appraise this car my last car was a 2007 Camry le that got totaled at 110,000miles now purchased a 2015 Camry SE. This car is a beauty it's reliable and little bit affordable for me the fit and finish materials are nice on this midsize car. My new Camry was bought on 7/23/15 no issues I use this car getting around Lexington KY area etc. So far I have had zero problems it's a beautiful car looks more like a Lexus instead being America's Bestselling midsize car even interior comfortable equipped leather seats and sunroof. Four cylinder engine is sweet as gets excellent gas mileage 30/35mpg on highway believe this car is worth an true excellent value know this car will last 100,000 changing spark plugs and using Synthetic oil at that time breaking the motor not disappointed with my 2007 as still miss that car but more satisfied with this newer Camry.

A far cry from the 2005 Camry

If you have owned other Toyota's prior to 2006 this is not a Toyota you will like.. The build quality feels more like 1990's GM than Toyota.. First, if you are going to buy a Camry, skip the SE and XSE trim, they have to be the stupidest trim options that exist, the car rides loud, handling is terrible, and it is way too Camry to be fun. The XLE and LE on the other hand don't get the stupid low profile tires, which do nothing to improve handling, the car is way to fat, and Buick like to handle. Build quality is terrible, i have owned older Toyota's that went 200+k miles without a rattle or squeak that had ever taken place. This thing the dash rattles in cold weather, there is wind noise, and the overall build quality is horrible compared to other Toyota's.. My Lemon GM that this replaced didn't even rattle.. I have replaced the rear wheel bearings twice on this car, and it only has 18K miles on it, my MR2 had the bearings done too, at 312K miles, which makes me feel like maybe quality has slipped at bit.. As per the handling and being Buick like, the power steering pump can't keep up with quick input tasks, so you find that if you want to change direction fast, you have to be prepared to dump a bunch of effort into turning. The car also leans way too much, and while i wouldn't expect a camry to handle good in a regular package, if you opt for the Sports package, you should get something for it, which i fail to see what you get, outside of harder riding wheels, way more road noise, and the same suspension that isn't able to cope well with the LE trim let alone the SE trim. The visibility out of the car is pretty laughable, i am still trying to figure out why they even put windows in this thing, the rear deck is entirely too high, so you can't see out, and the backup Camera isn't well placed, so it gets dirty, smudged too easily, and you just can't see.. Ultimately i could forgive all of these downfalls if it weren't for the horrible automatic transmission. The 4 speed auto in prior Toyota's were well designed, this thing shifts into 6th at 25mph, which requires a delayed kickdown to get on a highway, it just feels slow.. if you drive it in "slap shift" mode, the car wakes up a little and you can kinda laugh a little at having any feeling of driving at all.. but ultimately this is an appliance, and terrible.. it's a great car for those who want to drive a almond colored refrigerator to work, or for someone who has completely given up on life.. realistically if your friend buys one of these, they should be put on suicide watch.. It's really that bad..

Wife pretty much had her hart set on this car so not much I can do. Here is my comment... * front grill - omg so ugly. I would pay to get it modified. * ride is good for driver. but all my friend and kids complain it is very uncomfortable. feel every bump * noise - road noise appear to be loud. wish we had notice it during test drive. * performance - not as peppy as the accord.
