Had 2 1999 Manual V6 Camrys.
Bought one with 170k, sold it with 199k, bought another with 192k, sold it with 219k miles. THESE HAVE A HORRIBLE RESALE VALUE, I did not make any money on either of them, probably because not many people want a camry that is manual. But it has great power, 0-60 was 7.4 seconds for me on my first one, my second one was a bit slower because it felt beat on. Topped out the first one at 131 mph but blew a whole in the exhaust doing that lol. Both of mine had 1 common problem, the rear sway bar link bushing go bad and make a horrible clunking sound. Was impossible to change them because the bolts get rusted up and break if you touch them.
Awesome Car
My 99 Camry has 285,000 miles on it. Nothing has been done to it except regular maintenance like the timing belt and oil change. It still has the original motor and engine. I'm looking for other cars in case this one just break down but so far I've haven't had any problems! I had this care since 99 and I LOVE it. The speakers are great and nothing is more reliable. Toyota needs to go back to making cars like they did in 1999!
Excellent runner
I have 197,000 and it is still going strong. I had to have the EGR valve replaced and other than that, it has been great.
Floor it everyday since 1999 and it still runs
It just keeps running and I abuse the car daily. I always floor it and it just holds together. 3.0 liter 6 has decent power and great mph. Decent in snow with good tires. I keep telling myself I'll get a new car when this one dies but it's still alive and fun to drive at least for me it is.

Comfy and Reliable
Negatives - Power windows failed many times and early on. Lighter and indoor lights failed early on, more than just a blown fuse. Negatives out of the way this car has always been comfy, quiet and low maintenance. I've had it for 16 years and it's running like the day I bought it.
