Solara SLE
Bought the car a few months ago. Love it! Its Quick, tight, stylish, and smooth as silk. The previous owner put a trd sway bar and 215/55/16 toyo tires on the factory rims. It handles like a dream! The mirrors should fold though, and the sound is not as crisp as my maxima BOSE was.
Exceptional
This car is perfect if you are look for a sophisticated, yet sporty vehicle that will make you feel like they put the Toyota symbol on accident and forgot the Lexus symbol... I've drove many different Lexus and this drives and looks like a $30,000 car. My husband and I are still young and like sports cars... we actually went from a Nissan 300zx to the Solara and I must admit that I am loving the Solara much more! Since they have been out for a few years now, I would recommend finding a used SLE for a decent price. Definitely worth every penny spent!

this is the best first car.
This car is amazing it holds up extremly well, has an amazing build quality and it has so much structual rigidity. I got into a 35mph rear end collision with my car and there is only a penny sized paint scratch on the bumper. this car is so awesome!!!
Solara - 2nd half life better.
Brought this special order 5-speed new. It was a good car for the first 5 years. Excellent wear and tear, great mileage (32 mpg on the highway), solid build, and sporty but smooth ride. However, an irritating noise in the suspension was a little irritating. After a recall of 4 door models for a suspension issue, finally Toyota investigated my complaint. They found I had the same issue, fixed it for free, now it is even better.
Great Year for Camry Solara!
I bought this vehicle new for less than $20K. It's a four cylinder automatic with alloy wheels and a few bells and whistles. Nice looking car even after all these years. I now have 155,000 miles on the clock without ANY major repairs! My goal when buying this Solara was 200,000 miles, now I'm thinking 250,000 will be easy. I have been sold on Honda and Toyotas for about twenty years. Their reliability, fuel efficency and design simply bury the competition. If you follow the scheduled maintenance you will not be unhappy. My next car will definitely be a Solara. Maybe the convertible!
