6 months and still love it

Fun to drive, fully loaded and have had very few problems. Only negative is that I only get roughly 30 mpg mainly all city. Car has excellent pickup and the cvr transmission is smooth, I would highly recommend.

Best car I've ever owned!

This is absolutely the best car I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot. It is very well thought out, fun to drive, carries all the luggage my family of five needs for a long trip, and the fuel economy is typically 40 mpg or better. As a mechanical engineer I'm quite impressed with how this car is put together, specifically the merging of the gas engine and electric motor to the transmission. The seamless crossover in power supply is awesome. I'm about to go buy another hybrid Camry, something I never thought I'd do.

If you purchase this car you will be the envy of your neighbors. I have now had it for two months and enjoy driving it every day. I particularly enjoy driving past the gas station. The fit and finish are superb. The quiet of the car is something to be experienced. I just wish that it had a tad more trunk space and thus nirvana.

Tricks for MPG; bad phone; Open Trunk

I've had this car for two months, and it's great. I've found a few tricks to getting better gas milage. I noticed it only after getting better gass milage during the initial breakin period where I tried to vary my speed. After playing around and changing driving styles, I figured out the secret. With the car warmed up, when you reach cruising speed, take your foot off the accelerator completely, and slowly return it to the point where the car maintains speed. At under 42 MPH on level surface (or downhill) the TCH will completly switch to batteries, and on the highway it seems to put the car into an "econo" mode. I get over 45 MPG highway with this trick.

I haven't been this excited about a car in years. My driving is different: smoother starts, more consistent speed (I use the excellent cruise control whenever possible). Great attention to detail in design and construction. I love the smart key and the quiet, comfortable ride. We're getting only 35 mpg on this tank, but we go up a mile-long hill to get home (wonderful going down, though). Miracles happen: we took delivery of the exact car we wanted (sunroof, leather) on the same day we first talked to the dealer!
