Outstanding Car

We bought this car used with 34,000 miles on it in 2001, now in 2006 it has 120,000 and shows no signs of wearing out anytime soon. Transmission glides, engine is strong, interior is elegant and comfortable and gas mileage is 31 on the highway. The trunk is huge and the seats feel like your sitting in your favorite chair at home. The only thing I've had done is regular repairs and the air conditioning was charged this year, that's it!

Bought it used with 140k miles but still runs and looks like new with enough power from a smooth quiet 3.0 v6 engine.

311,000 miles and still going. Had to replace brake switch, EGR valve, radiator, alternator, wheel bearings. Decided to replace all suspension parts. Rides and drives like new. Greatest engine ever built possibly as far as v6 goes. Had headliner replaced. I think with new paint job and front seat upholstery will be like new for sure. Started up on freeway the other day and car on my tail and i gunned it and was quarter mile ahead of tailgater before he knew it. NO loss of power yet. Why can't American car companies build such cars? Not as smart I guess.

Excellent Used Car

I recently purchased the 97 XLS model with the gold package. I think this is an excellent car. I've had no problems with it thus far, and anticipate not having any problems with this Toyota for a long, long time. The traction control is smooth, and the automatic headlights/external temperature features are incredible. This car is the "Total Package" in my books!
