One Great Truck!

Two weeks after buying this 4runner I installed a 3 inch lift and 32" tires the resulting stance is much improved over stock's low nose. I will comment that these trucks are perfect for lifting 2-3 inches as the CV angles up front are in a squatted position. 50K miles later including several off-road trips and snowy jaunts to the mountains this 4runner continues to impress! I love it! All I do is oil changes and never had a problem, 100% recommend!

After owning another brand of SUV and not being satified I checked out the 4 Runner and was suprised at what I founed. I test drove and found the preformance and handling of the 4 Runner to be sound and well made from an engineering stand point. I now have the Sport Edition. Being a sportsman and going off road I found it preformed very well. I have more then enought room for all of my equipment. I have been asked by my friends how I feel about the Toyota compared to my other SUV's. My answer is I'm very well pleased with it's preformance.

New 4Runner

Recently purchased 2wd SR5 4Runner. What a pleasant surprise! I was about to purchase a Pathfinder until I discovered it required premium fuel. Went to test drive 4Runner and was amazed how smooth, comfortable, practical and good looking this SUV was. Plus the fact that the 4Runner holds it resale value better, made this a great buy for me. Holds a lot of cargo with seats down and my three dogs dig the room they have. They also appreciate the automatic rear window feature. Anyone looking for a midsize SUV... don't overlook this one. Only negative is I wish it got better gas mileage, especially in these times!

Great All Around

I traded in my BMW 3series for this 4runner because I was moving up to the high mountains, Breckenridge Colorado. It handles amazingly in the snow, even with 2 wheel drive, and have never been nervous about my safety. Can fit 5 people comfortably, even with their winter layers on. Nice to have the rack already on top, just attach a board-rack and you're ready to hit the slopes. Does great on the highways here, which are constantly winding, the huge breaks are a plus.

We have 2 little ones, so we traded in a very nice 2003 TL S-type for the sport 4 runner. My wife was tired of bending over to load kids. We are very happy with the choice. Although not nearly as loaded as our old ride, the 4runner handles very well for a truck based suv. It feels light to drive. I actually like the cloth seats better than leather, and the exterior of the sport edition is just plain cool looking. Much better gas milage than I expected. Engine power is adequate and a good mix of power & economy. Plan on making this "the truck" and trading in my pickup for something a little better on gas. Plan on keeping this a while...
