Best SUV I have ever owned

This is my 3rd SUV, previously owned a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2002 Dodge Durango. The 4Runner is far superior in ride comfort, reliability, resale value, and fuel economy. This is the quietest vehicle I have ever owned, even more quiet than a '97 Acura 2.2CL I had a number of years ago. V6 has plenty of power and I am averaging around 19-20 MPG in town. I really like this SUV and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a reliable and sporty alternative to the larger SUV's. Don't buy anything before you drive this Toyota.

The Limited 4 Runner is the best SUV of the three that I have owned. The others were a Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee and GMC. Toyota is a much tighter, quieter and better handling vehicle.

The perfect vehicle for anyone who truly wants to get away from the asphalt and onto something a little more challenging. Great handling car, the V8 engine is quiet and powerful. All wheel drive is sure footed, handles well under a load as well as unhitched on the open road. Interior fit and finish is good, new design gives the truck a cleaner, less bulky appearance, and the functional Sport Edition hood scoop give the vehicle an agressive, unobstructed view of the road, and the off road. Lot's of thoughtful design went into the interior as well, but the temp and air controls took some getting used to. Great Truck for the offroader and trips to the mall.

I have been waiting to purchase a 4runner for quite some time. I enjoy not only driving it but also giving it a good wash and wax job.

This is without a doubt one of the best vehicles made in the world regardless of price. Fit and finish of my new 4 Runner is almost flawless. I recommend the X-REAS Sport Enhancement Suspension. Creature comforts abound in this vehicle. Get the V8 which is awesome if you're not worried about mileage. It’s a smooth rush of power through the entire power curve! Hard to believe this SUV weighs almost 4500 lbs. I recently drove in about 18 inches of fresh snow and my 4 Runner never breathed hard. It’s as quite as any Lexus or BMW sedan I’ve ever owned. It has that German feel to the entire vehicle but fortunately has Toyota’s legendary reliability. I could not be happier with my new 2005 LTD
