2003 4Runner
Great improvement over the '97 I traded in. Love the V8. Wonderful features inside. This car is loaded with goodies I didn't know it had until I had it a few days. The price was about the same as the '97 and it is three times the truck. I hate to call it a truck it has such a great ride. Can't beat the Toyota, I've had 8 Toyota's sence 1989 and the trade in value can't be beat
I love my new Toyota
I love the sliding back window (so does my great dane) This suv is fun to drive and nice to look at.

My First Toyota
Purchased the 4Runner in Dec '02 when they first hit the local market. Thought it was a little pricy, but felt it was a good value based on other Toyota owners' recommendations. It was exactly the right sized vehicle for my needs. It has good overall power and preformance from the 4.7 liter V-8.It also has an excellent, solid road feel. Steering, brakes, and handling are very good for an SUV. The only complains I have are terrible gas mileage (12.5 to 14 mpg!)and a slight vibration felt in the steering column and pedals under light acceleration. Service manager can't explain or get interested in finding the vibration. Overall a very satisfying vehicle.
Great Rig
I absolutely love my 2003 4Runner. It's roomy, comfortable, reliable and good looking, too. I also own a BMW 740 and my g/f comments on the 4Runner's good looks more often than the Bimmer. In fact, given the option, she'd drive the 4Runner first. Interesting. The Toyota V8 is a beautiful running engine and I still get a respectable 17 mpg around town, 21 highway. Oh, I also appreciate the good ground clearance, 4WD and ABS because I live in snow country. This thing is very sure footed.
Excellent Truck
A truly great sport ute. Size is plenty big but not too big. Acceleration with the V8 is beeter than could be expected in a truck this size. The handling, espcially in corners, is also excellent for a truck its size. The only complaint is gas mileage, but with a truck like this you should know that will stink.
