Just this month brought home my 4 Runner after trying to decide between the 4 Runner and the new Honda Pilot. The 4 Runner's looks won out. After driving it home loved it even more. This is the best of all worlds. Seats and ride are plush and the navigaion system is unreal. You can't go wrong with this vehicle.

New 4Runner is a huge hit

I love my new 4Runner, we test drove every SUV looking for the right one. The only SUV that could match or surpass the new 4Runner was the GMC Yukon. They have an almost identical feel, and are very smooth. The GMC definately has more cargo space and a more powerful engine, but it is also on average about $10,000 more than the 4Runner. The 4Runner is the best choice for someone that likes the yukon, but is dreading the monthly payments. The only down side that I see thus far to the 4Runner is the lack of a 3rd row seat.

I just got my 4Runner tonight. The best SUV in the market! Handles great and very smooth! Quiet drive. Interior with all the creature comforts! I'd like to say that everyone should give this a try. Then again, I'd like to be the only 03 Toyota 4Runner in my neighborhood so no one else copies...hehe. Good luck looking and have fun driving.

Having been discouraged with the lack of interior space in previous year models, I am pleased with the amount of room with the 2003 re-design. Also I am pleased to see the v-8 available since the old v-6 didn't provide enough power for this size of vehicle. The X- REAS shock system is great!!! Do have to fumble at times looking for window controls, wished they were positioned higher up on the door panel

Overall design very nice. At first, the plastic seemed too much but is useful to cut down on the dents and dings. The V8 is very peppy coupled to a tranny that adjusts to driving conditions and personal driving habits. The XREAS is without a doubt a feature you cant live without. XREAS keeps the vehicle from tilting in turns. Dont buy the vehicle without it. The climate control knobs are the only feature I dont like but nothing can be completely perfect. This is the best SUV with cool features. All others are the same ole thing, boring.
