The V8 supplies a great deal of torque, and even for a vehicle weighing in at over 4000lbs, you definitely will have no problem merging into traffic. The interior is extremely nice and comfortable, and the double-tiered cargo system somewhat compensates for the lack of cargo room in the rear. The exterior is visually pleasing in the limited, and a step-up from the plastic cladding of the SR5 and the Sport Edition which were designed to decrease dings and scratches caused by off-road driving. The Air-Suspension is a must for off-roaders and/or those who will be using the 4Runner for towing.

The V8 is powerful! The appearance is elegant yet rugged. Nicely appointed interior without the nonsense "extras" of the Lexus GX 470. Comparing to the Lexus - 4RUNNER IS MUCH BETTER FOR $15,000 LESS!

I've been waiting for Toyota to come out with a V8 engine, finally here, bravo! lots of power. I'd just driven it from Las Vegas to San Francisco and Reno smooth sailing all the way even in snow. comfort and roomeir than the previous 4runner's. less wind and engine noise that my previous jeep grand cherokee. I'll keep this one for a while.

I got my 1st 4 runner in 1995, my 2nd in 2000. This year I decided to upgrade into something more luxurious. I still wanted the room so a crossover was out of the question.I tried the MDX and the RX 330 and was left feeling dissapointed. They were nice enough inside but did not feel right. When I test drove a limited 4 runner, I got the best of both worlds. A great , reliable SUV in the mountains and pretty sweet ride when we head downtown.

We love our 4Runner! We looked at all the midsize SUV's out there and kept going back to the 4Runner. We waited for the V6 to be available, since we won't be towing anything, it has plenty of pick up at 245hp. My husband likes it because it is designed to go off road. I like it because it has a lot of space for our family of five(two car seats and a child in the rear seat, plus the dog in the way back)! It is the perfect balance between rugged and comfort. Very quiet interior ride, tons of standard features. We have driven it both on road and off road and love it. So far we have been very impressed with its performance and quality.
