Rattle Rattle Squeak Squeak
The sunroof rattles like it has marbles in it. The left front rubber insulator between body and frame squeaks when it's cold. The lumbar motor in driver's seat went out and was $750 to replace. There was a support tapping me in the back, so it had to be fixed. It has been to dealer for the noise and is still not fixed. The seat is ok now. I am running H/T tires and handling is great. Radio still sounds great with it's 10 speakers. Handles and rides well on trips, but rattles from sunroof will drive you crazy.
Awesome
I couldn't wait until the '03 style came out because I had heard it woud be great. Well, I was not disappointed . I had to have it. Only had it one week but it is a super machine-great improvement.

Best I have ever owned
I have owned 7 differant Sport Utility vehicles from BMW to Land Rover, nothing even comes close to this toyota
Toyota keeps doing it right!!!!!
A vast improvement over older model(had a 1999model). Great p/u w/8 cyl engine. Excellent steering, braking, creature comforts outstanding.Ride could be a little bit softer/more refined. A competent vehicle both on/off road.Blind spot on both right and rear side could be easily eliminated w/ a larger 3rd window. As a salesman, doing 20k miles + a year, t's a great way to go.Fuel mileage, combined city & highway appx 14.5-15.0 miles per gallon w/the eight cylinder, and a heavy foot. A true Toyota Winner!!!!!!!
High expectations...High performance
We have owned our 4Runner Limited for two months now and it has delivered a high quality ride in everyway(except for good gas mileage, but we did not expect that). The 4Runner oozes with quality and performance. It is not the most flashy truck on the market or a red hot fad; however, our experience tell us this truck will deliver consistent and superior performace for may years to come. We would highly recommend this truck to those people seeking a high quality, highly versatille truck with strong craftsmanship. The price for the Limited is steep but for a truck that you can expect to put 200K-300K miles on with limited problems, it is still a steal!
