Beautiful SUV
I find this SUV to be incredible.... the ride awesome and it has fantastic capabilities. I've had 2 4 Runners before and waited for the AWD to be introduced... it was worth the wait!! The V8 power is great and it rides beautifully. The only problem I've had so far is the 6 in-dash CD player has jammed and is in for replacement!!
Very Well Built and Reliable:
I bought this vehicle from my Dad with 80,000 k's (50,000 miles) and it now has 140 k's (87,000 miles). So far the only money I've spent on the 4R has been for maintenance items. The quality of this machine is so obvious that my 17 year old grandson wants it because "it feels so solid." It's fairly boring to drive, but that's a good thing. It has amazing torque: we've pulled trailers with it effortlessly. The only complaint comes from my wife, a Swedish-American woman with beautiful long legs who can't cross them while in the passenger seat because the dash is too close to the floor. I may get seat extenders. Update January 2024: I’m disappointed to have discovered that the 4Runner’s Achille’s heel, frame rust, has reared its ugly head.

Much more vehicle than the 02 4runner
Traded in an 02 for a 03.Vehicle is superb in every way.More power, more room, rides a hell of a lot better.
Great Work Toyota!
I'm new to the 4 Runner but not to Toyota. This is my fourth and my best experience yet. When I test drove the V-8 Limited I was was sold. My dealership provided pricing that was very competetive accompanied with Quality service. Just took it up the coast.....loved it!!!!
awesome
this is my 3rd 4runner. the v8 is so smooth it was worth the extra money. the only thing that seems to be a waste is the folding cargo mat in the back. everything falls off unless it's tied down.
