Bought used with 280k

I just bought this rig with 288k. It had the water pump, timing belt, transmission seals done. It also had newer spark plugs and tires. For its age, the driver's seat will need to be replaced(worn leather), but overall in pretty decent shape. Drives like a truck, not a luxury SUV, but this is one of the most reliable rigs you will find. From what I could tell looking over my service records, it was well maintained---- no major outside of servicing and regular maintenance items. I intend to keep this going to 500k.

Excellent truck

My 4Runner has been a wonderfully solid, reliable, and capable vehicle. I regularly drive it on rugged 4WD roads during camping trips in the Sierras, Death Valley, and Arizona (e.g. Sunflower Mine, Coke Ovens) and it has never let me down. It has a surprisingly large cargo area and my girlfriend and I can stretch out and sleep in the back (5'9"). The visibility is great, it's easy for anyone to drive, and even after 212,000 miles the V6/auto combination gives me 22 mpg on the highway at 70 mph which I'm quite happy with for an SUV. I'll be keeping this one past 300K.

Absolutely no surprises with ownership standing at 22 of it’s 24 years on the road. 243,000 miles on the odometer. Ours is the SR5 4WD with a five-speed manual. It has crawled the daily commutes of metropolitan traffic jams and four wheeled the trails of the Sierra Nevada. It’s seen the Rocky Mountains, the Appalachians along with the Pacific & Atlantic oceans. It's has the 3.4 liter V-6 and has no quit in it. Times change. It’s been updated with a stereo that has Bluetooth & NAV. Maintenance costs are far below any new car payment.

Unparalleled quality and reliability No major repairs required in 11 years Best all weather vehicle available. Exceptional. Used in states ranging from AK, KS, CO, SC, SC, IL, VA, LA and everywhere in between. I would not hesitate to take it anywhere with 235,000 miles on it today.

I just bought this 4runner 2.7L/4 cylinder/manual/rear diff lock four months ago, since I bought this 4runner I never had problems, I just changed brake caliper/changed oil and adjusted the rear brakes, I brought it to my mechanic after buying it and he said when he test drove it, it runs like 6 cylinder, he likes it!! It has 242800k in its engine but man it drives great!! I am planning to keep this truck 'til it drops. Routine check up needs to be followed and this stud will rock!!
