170,000 miles and always ready
Unbelievably reliable truck. I have put 170,000 hard miles on my 5 speed 4wd 1994 4Runner and it still runs the way it did when I drove it off the lot. Sure there have been a few minor problems along the way, but nothing that would be considered unexpected. The best vehicle I have ever owned by far. Don't think I will ever
Goes anywhere
I have been driving this vehicle for 2 year, no major expenses on maintenance. Excellent off road capability, need more comfort on road.
4Runner review
I have beat on my 4Runner again and again. It was used a lot for farm work, pulling trees down, and hauling heavy loads with a trailer. The only time it left me stranded was when I ran it close to empty. It was my fault. If you find one with no rust, get it rust protected. Any body shop should be able to help you. The inside of the doors and tailgate. The 4Runner is not fast, but it's very dependable. Stick with the manual transmission models, the autos suck a lot of power you cannot afford to lose. Thirteen hard Michigan winters have taken their toll, but she is still alive and kickin'.
What a Truck
I have towed a 3500 lb camper for the last 4 years with no problems or even concerns. The vehicle is underpowered but with exhaust and intake modifications I have made it more than acceptable. This vehicle has had not 1 issue other than replacing a rear window motor. My biggest expense has been tires, I am more than impressed.
Toyota 1994 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD
An excellent car for in town and off road! This SUV has had virtually NO problems with it since bought in 1994. A very reliable truck.
