POG
Piece of garbage. Leaks transmission fluid, burns oil, a/c is on all the time, rattles so badly it sounds like it's going to come appart like one of those cartoon cars. It started all of this at 18,000 miles. And, I have taken care of it...regular maintenance, etc.
What a Little Trooper!
Such a great little machine! Tough, fun, attractive. Pep of the V6 but with good fuel economy. Folks gave it and its pop-top Avan camper to us as they were just getting too old to do their adventuring - they’d taken it to the most rugged parts of this big country. It’s been totally reliable. They put in electric brakes, two inch lift, CB radio and other few bits and pieces that add to its go-anywhere vibe. I’ve restored its remote locking with a new key fob and am replacing a couple of minor things - fortunately dad’s always looked after his cars. Look out Australia - here we come!

2 1/2 years old -- a look back and ahead
This is my second Suzuki, first one was an 1987 Samari, I had for 15 years. But the 2002 has had a few recalls. This vehicle has had all the recommended maintenance. It was a reliable and fun vehicle until 18000 miles. Now I am told the engine needs to be replaced. The dealer has had it for over two weeks with no estimated completion date. The dealer was quick to give me a rental car. New cars in the past were reliable, I do not know what has happened to the quality. I miss my Suzuki and hope it comes home soon! I think in the future I will lease a vehicle instead of buying....
