Used 2010 Subaru Outback Consumer Reviews
So far, so good!
We've had our OB for about 3 weeks & in that time we've taken it on 2 excursions, 1 thru sloppy snow on black ice, dirt roads & extremely steep grades. Not the slightest loss of traction on the ice while other cars were wiggling thru the snow (tho found changes in acceleration very jerky while in low gear), the bumps melted away on the dirt road, our fully loaded car zipped up the steep grade & the paddles worked very well going down while the car in front of us (older Subaru OB, BTW) had to be pulled off to cool the brakes down. Once we hit the flats & the freeways we got c. 30 - 33 mpg. Driver's seat is very comfortable, ride is very quiet, fit & finish fine, good head lights.
Who's your driver?
I don't know who from Edmunds did the road test,or if they even really drove the car! The most nimble car, best handeling Outback ever! Oh, by the way, try to find an A.W.D. that comes close to this performance (let alone fuel economy...<combined avg.of 28.7 REAL world figures>) for under $35K!!! Sorry, not available. I'm just so happy the "bang for the buck" product still exists.

Outback
All the editors reviews are accurate, the car is great, on the down side, its noisy on acceleration, but on smooth road, ride is quiet. Interior and exterior quality top shelf.
I am in love!!!
Turned in a leased Jeep Grand Cherokee, but still wanted AWD, room for 2 kids and 2 dogs. Well I got it and so much more! Added leather to the Premium model, well worth it. Seats are beyond comfortable and interior is so spacious. My 2 kids, both in carseats, are not kicking the back of the seats. The new larger body style is perfect. So fun, peppy and comfortable to drive and I cannot believe gas mileage, especially compared to previous vehicle. My car is as quiet as a whisper, I love the dash layout and can read every inch of it w/o a problem. So glad I waited for new body style, people doing "double takes".
Number Three
We bought two 2005 Outbacks for our children as used cars. We wanted safe reliable cars with all wheel drive for the New England winters. My wife and I were so pleased with these cars that we decided to add a third Outback this month. We purchased a 2010 Outback Premium model in Sky Blue. I am the daily driver and just love the car. It is an extraordinary value when compared with the new Audi A4 wagon which I drove with a price of $42,000 plus. The new Outback design is spacious and very comfortable and fun to drive. Prior to owning this Outback we have owned two BMW's and two Honda's. Frankly, Subaru was not a car we considered before this. Now we have three in the family.
